Worked on the bufbuild/buf repository to deliver multi-architecture image manifest support for the Buf Beta Registry Plugin Push feature. This involved implementing backend logic in Go to automate the handling of image digests across different platforms, reducing manual steps for multi-architecture deployments. The approach aligned the push workflow with OCI image manifest standards, improving artifact integrity and cross-platform interoperability. By focusing on backend development and leveraging Go’s concurrency features, the work enhanced reliability for users deploying images to diverse environments. All changes were traceable through linked issues and commits, ensuring maintainability and clear review paths within the project.
