Hamza Hrnjic developed a WebSocket swipe event handling feature for the SI-SecureRemoteControl/remote-control-gateway repository, focusing on enabling gesture-based remote control with real-time responsiveness. Using Node.js and JavaScript, Hamza implemented robust validation of incoming swipe data, ensuring only well-formed events were processed. The system relayed validated swipe gestures to connected target devices and logged each session event for traceability. In cases where the target device was not connected, the gateway logged failures to support troubleshooting and reliability. This work enhanced the end-to-end processing of swipe gestures, improving both user experience and operational reliability within the backend infrastructure.
