Han Ahyun contributed to the zyu22/honeyboard-server repository by building and refining backend systems focused on authentication, document generation, and storage management. Over four months, Han implemented JWT-based authentication with Redis-backed session handling, integrated OAuth2 for secure user access, and developed PDF export features using Java and Spring Boot. She led architectural refactors to improve code organization, enhanced error handling, and migrated file storage from AWS S3 to a local filesystem, reducing cloud dependency and improving deployment flexibility. Her work emphasized API security, data integrity, and maintainability, resulting in a more reliable, scalable backend supporting complex team and project workflows.

August 2025: Migrated image/upload storage for zyu22/honeyboard-server from S3 to a local filesystem, enabling cheaper, offline-capable storage. Implemented local storage handling in S3ServiceImp, including directory creation, file copying, and generating accessible URLs; updated application properties for local base path and public URL prefix. Refactored to remove unused metadata creation in the S3 upload flow as part of the migration. No critical bugs reported; this work reduces cloud dependency and improves testability and deployment flexibility.
