During November 2025, Nagata contributed to the Homebrew/homebrew-cask repository by delivering the ELECOM Mouse Assistant 6.1.4 update. This work centered on updating the package definition and SHA256 checksum, ensuring users could access the latest software version with verified integrity. Nagata applied Ruby and package management skills to maintain release governance and traceability, adhering to Homebrew-cask’s established packaging standards. The update process emphasized security and reliability, reducing deployment risks and improving user trust. Although the scope was focused on a single feature, the work demonstrated careful attention to versioning, checksum management, and disciplined release workflows within the Ruby ecosystem.
