Worked on the nextcloud/user_oidc repository to deliver a session management performance enhancement focused on backend efficiency. Refactored the session user handling logic in PHP to prevent unnecessary user fetching, which improved session latency and throughput while reducing server load. This change enhanced both scalability and the overall authentication experience for administrators and users. The approach emphasized maintainability and future extensibility of the session management module, with careful attention to code quality and collaborative review using Git best practices. The work demonstrated strong skills in PHP, backend development, and session management, contributing to a more reliable and performant authentication flow.
