Developed and delivered a new Hardhat plugin, hardhat-descriptor, for the NomicFoundation/hardhat-website repository, focusing on automating ERC-7730 clear-signing descriptor generation for compiled smart contracts. The solution integrated multiple LLM providers, including Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and OpenAI-compatible APIs, to streamline descriptor creation and reduce manual intervention. The work centered on plugin development and LLM integration, leveraging JSON for data handling and interoperability. By enabling automated, cross-provider descriptor workflows, the plugin enhanced transparency and efficiency in contract signing processes. The contribution consisted of a single, well-scoped feature, demonstrating depth in both smart contract tooling and practical LLM application.
