During January 2025, Haochun Ma led the rollout of SSPL licensing and documentation enhancements across the jst-seminar-rostlab-tum/wfp-hungermap-docs and wfp-hunger-map repositories. Focusing on legal and licensing compliance, Haochun updated LICENSE files, COMMERCIAL_LICENSE_AGREEMENT.txt, and README.md using Markdown and plain text, ensuring cross-repository consistency and improved documentation readability. The work preserved all core functionality, isolating changes to legal terms without introducing user-facing regressions or altering features. By streamlining onboarding for users and partners and maintaining a clear, traceable commit history, Haochun demonstrated depth in documentation, legal, and licensing skills while supporting compliant project distribution and maintainability.
