In February 2025, Haojun Zhao developed a formal project citation workflow for the huggingface/picotron repository, focusing on improving academic attribution and discoverability. He implemented a citation.cff file using Markdown and YAML, embedding comprehensive project metadata such as title, authors, repository, abstract, keywords, license, and version. Additionally, he updated the README to include a BibTeX-formatted citation, streamlining integration with academic referencing tools. This work addressed the need for standardized citation practices and compliance with open science requirements. Haojun’s contribution demonstrated depth in documentation and project management, delivering a robust solution that enhances the project’s visibility and scholarly usability.
