Liu Hao developed Proto-Indo-European language support for the QuickAccent feature in the zadjii-msft/PowerToys repository, focusing on expanding accessibility for linguistic workflows. Using C# and full stack development skills, Liu Hao implemented new language definitions and character mappings, enabling users to input Proto-Indo-European letters directly through the UI. The work included updating the spell-check validation to recognize the new language identifier, reducing friction for users working with ancient scripts. Although the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, the implementation demonstrated careful attention to integration and usability, addressing a specific need for enhanced language input support.
