In May 2025, Haolu contributed to the microsoft/multi-agent-reference-architecture repository by developing two features focused on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) security and agent onboarding. Haolu authored comprehensive RAG Security and Data Handling Guidelines, detailing best practices for data protection across indexing, retrieval, agent responses, and identity management. Additionally, Haolu created and integrated Agent Registry documentation, clarifying data structures and registration workflows while improving discoverability within the reference architecture. The work emphasized Markdown-based technical writing, system design, and security best practices, resulting in clearer governance and safer RAG adoption. No bugs were fixed, reflecting a focus on foundational documentation and architecture.
