Worked on enhancing the OpenXiangShan/difftest repository by improving error reporting within the diff test framework, specifically addressing how program counter values are logged during architecture event mismatches. Leveraging C++ development and debugging skills, implemented a targeted fix to ensure that exception program counters are accurately reported based on commit validity, which aids in diagnosing architectural discrepancies. This update strengthened the reliability of the testing framework by providing more precise debugging information and accelerating the triage process for architectural events. The work focused on refining test feedback loops and contributed to more robust and maintainable testing practices using C++ and testing frameworks.
