Contributed to the projectdiscovery/nuclei-templates repository by developing a Nuclei detection template targeting CVE-2026-10823 in the YMC Filter WordPress plugin. The work centered on security automation, leveraging HTTP and YAML to create a template that performs unauthenticated GET requests to identify sensitive information disclosure vulnerabilities. This addition expanded automated detection coverage, supporting continuous integration and deployment security pipelines. The approach emphasized vulnerability research and automation readiness, enabling streamlined security scanning for WordPress plugins. Over the course of the month, the focus remained on building robust, reusable security templates rather than bug fixes, demonstrating depth in security engineering and template development.
