Worked on enhancing the neetozone/neeto-ui repository by improving the testability of the Textarea component through targeted front end development. Focused on JavaScript and component development, the work involved adding data-cy attributes to both the label and input elements, which enabled more reliable automated end-to-end testing. This approach addressed issues with selector flakiness in continuous integration environments, laying the groundwork for broader and more stable UI test coverage. By instrumenting UI elements for testing, the changes supported faster and more dependable release cycles, emphasizing quality assurance and robust testing practices within the existing codebase over the course of the month.
