Hargitay streamlined IAM configuration by removing outdated policies from CloudFormation templates, reducing the IAM surface area and simplifying policy management. Additionally, Hargitay developed an automated landing page verification framework that retrieves URLs from AWS SSM and uses Selenium-based tests running in Docker containers, ensuring nightly end-to-end validation with robust timeout and error handling. The work leveraged Python, Shell scripting, and AWS services, resulting in more predictable deployments and faster detection of regressions, reflecting a thoughtful approach to reliability and maintainability.
