Worked on the EventoryHost/Eventory-backend repository to deliver a Venue Quotations API that streamlines quoting workflows for event vendors and organizers. Developed new API endpoints using Express.js and Node.js, with a Mongoose schema in MongoDB to capture event details, guest count, date, time, budget, requirements, user information, and vendor ID. Modularized the routing by separating venue quotation endpoints into a dedicated file and integrating it with the main API index, improving code organization and maintainability. Enhanced the venueQuotation model to support auto-incremented, sequential quotation IDs, ensuring data integrity and scalability for future feature expansion and system growth.
