Worked on the armosec/armoapi-go repository to enhance image scanning error handling by introducing a dedicated reason code for unsupported image schemas. This feature improved the clarity of failure notifications and streamlined the triage process for users encountering schema-related issues. The technical approach involved updating the scanfailure pathway in Go, focusing on robust error handling design and maintaining high standards of code hygiene. By clearly reporting unsupported image schemas, the changes reduced remediation time and laid the foundation for broader schema support in the future. The work demonstrated proficiency in Go and backend development, with attention to maintainability and user experience.
