Worked on the moltbot/moltbot repository to enhance system stability by addressing two critical bugs affecting user-facing approvals and connection reliability. Focused on improving the approval queue, the developer updated application logic to ignore stale approval resolve errors and ensure that older failures would not impact newer approval decisions. They also implemented graceful handling of protocol mismatches between Gateway and Control UI versions, preventing unwanted reconnections and preserving actionable error messages for users. All changes were supported by comprehensive UI tests and detailed changelog documentation. The work leveraged TypeScript and front end development skills, emphasizing maintainability and robust incident response.
