Developed and delivered a new Energy News RSS route for the in-en.com portal within the DIYgod/RSSHub repository, expanding coverage across multiple energy categories such as solar, wind, and hydrogen. Focused on backend and API development using TypeScript, the work included robust data parsing with list-to-detail fetching, caching, and improved handling of Chinese relative timestamps. Enhanced the reliability and maintainability of the in-en module by stabilizing selectors, normalizing categories, and refining timezone and author extraction. These improvements resulted in fresher, more accurate content and broader energy news coverage for RSSHub users and downstream systems, with streamlined code and reduced technical debt.
