Worked on the Samsung/TizenFX repository to deprecate the Context API, focusing on the AppHistory module to streamline future API maintenance. The approach involved marking the BatteryStatistics and UsageStatistics data classes as obsolete, with clear plans for their removal in upcoming API versions. Updated developer documentation provided migration guidance, ensuring a smoother transition for users of the affected APIs. This work reduced the overall API surface area and simplified the codebase, supporting long-term maintainability. Utilized C# for implementation, applying skills in API deprecation, code refactoring, and Tizen development to deliver a targeted, maintainability-focused feature within the project.
