Developed and integrated the Borderless Minimal Theme within the zed-industries/extensions repository, focusing on enhancing the modular extension architecture for improved theming and UI customization. Leveraged Git for submodule management and TOML for configuration, registering the new theme to ensure discoverability by the extension loader. The work included initial validation steps for packaging, such as running pnpm sort-extensions and attempting pnpm package-extensions, although local packaging was blocked by a missing binary. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a careful approach to implementation and validation. The contribution lays groundwork for future rapid extension development and customization.
