Worked on the DIYgod/RSSHub project, focusing on stabilizing the GitHub integration by addressing a persistent issue with the Topics route. Delivered a targeted fix by updating the DOM selector logic in TypeScript, which resolved the empty-response problem and restored reliable topic data extraction. This backend solution improved the reliability of API integration, directly reducing user impact and the volume of support tickets related to route failures. The approach emphasized a low-risk, maintainable change to DOM parsing, aligning with the project’s standards for quick recovery and minimal disruption. Demonstrated proficiency in backend development and TypeScript within a collaborative open-source environment.
