Worked on the pedroslopez/whatsapp-web.js repository, focusing on improving the reliability of the reply flow in WhatsApp Web’s messaging system. Addressed a bug in the quoted message validation logic by ensuring that only valid quoted messages are retrieved before replies are processed, which reduced the risk of mislinked quotes and edge-case errors during conversations. This fix enhanced the overall stability of user interactions by preventing invalid reply chains. The work was implemented using JavaScript and front end development techniques, demonstrating attention to detail in handling asynchronous message flows and maintaining robust validation within a complex, real-time messaging environment.
