
Worked on moltbot/moltbot to enhance agent-duration metrics by expanding histogram bucket boundaries, enabling more accurate monitoring of long-running agent tasks. Used TypeScript for backend development, focusing on metrics monitoring and robust testing. The approach involved introducing explicit constants and preserving existing bucket behavior to ensure data remained actionable for durations ranging from one second to one hour, as well as for context tokens up to two million. Added comprehensive tests to verify histogram boundaries and maintain cross-consistency between related metrics. These improvements provided more reliable p95 and p99 latency reporting, reducing operational overhead and supporting better capacity planning.
