Worked on the LetsGetTechnical/elecretanta repository, focusing on strengthening front-end reliability and test coverage. Delivered comprehensive unit tests for both the Slider and GlobalHeader components, addressing value changes, boundary conditions, and user interactions to reduce regression risk and accelerate QA cycles. Improved test clarity by standardizing data-testid attributes in the Input component, enhancing maintainability for future development. Utilized React, TypeScript, and Next.js to implement robust component testing and refactoring, while documenting testing approaches to support ongoing collaboration. This work enabled safer refactors, faster feedback for releases, and more consistent UI behavior across forms, dashboards, and navigation elements.

Month: 2025-04 Scope: LetsGetTechnical/elecretanta. What was delivered: A targeted improvement to test-id consistency in the Input component, renaming the data-testid attribute from 'test-input' to 'input'. This change was a non-functional refactor aimed at increasing test clarity and maintainability without altering runtime behavior. Impact: Improved test readability and stability by standardizing test selectors, reducing the likelihood of flaky tests due to inconsistent identifiers, and easing onboarding for QA engineers and reviewers. Notes: Change is isolated to the Input component and reflected in a single commit; no user-facing features touched.
