Worked on the projectdiscovery/nuclei-templates repository to enhance credential detection for Dell iDRAC9 devices by updating the detection template. The approach involved replacing a basic word match with a more flexible regular expression matcher for the 'authResult' field, which improved the accuracy and robustness of credential detection during vulnerability scans. Focused on network security and vulnerability scanning, the work leveraged YAML for template configuration and regular expressions for pattern matching. This update reduced the likelihood of missed detections and increased the reliability of scan results, contributing to more maintainable and effective credential checks within the nuclei-templates project.
