Addressed a key bug by revising the rate.yaml file to reflect reduced tax rates and removing outdated references to HB1001, ensuring the dataset remained accurate and current. Emphasized rigorous documentation practices by updating the changelog for traceability, supporting downstream teams’ transparency needs. Utilized YAML for structured data management and applied expertise in government regulations and tax policy to maintain compliance readiness. The work improved the reliability of Arkansas tax calculations for users relying on policy data.
