Worked on the Azure/azure-rest-api-specs repository to deliver a new read-only isSupported flag within DiskReportedProperties for Azure Stack HCI, enhancing visibility into hardware compatibility for validated solution deployments. The approach involved aligning the API specification with backend Resource Provider logic, ensuring consistent validation across layers. Using skills in API Design, Azure Resource Manager, and TypeSpec, the developer updated the OpenAPI artifacts and examples to accurately reflect the new property. This work improved client tooling accuracy and enabled early detection of unsupported disks, reducing misconfigurations and streamlining deployment processes for Azure Stack HCI customers within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
