During August 2025, Vita Yuzu expanded the internationalization of the OuterTune repository by delivering Chinese (Simplified) translations for the user interface. Working primarily with XML and leveraging the Weblate platform, Vita translated 200 out of 228 UI strings, achieving 87.7% coverage and enabling broader accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. All translation updates were consolidated into a single commit, streamlining traceability and future quality reviews. The focus was on localization quality and process improvement rather than bug fixes, laying the groundwork for smoother future updates. This work enhanced OuterTune’s readiness for global audiences and improved the maintainability of its translation workflow.
