During the month, Hei introduced the BPARTNERS_API_URL environment variable into the template.yml file using YAML, enabling the application to dynamically access the BPartners API URL across different deployment environments. This change improved DevOps practices by centralizing configuration, allowing for safer and more flexible deployments in development, staging, and production. Although the work was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, it laid the groundwork for easier onboarding of external APIs and enhanced the project’s environment-driven integration readiness.
