During September 2025, Micorksen delivered a dependency simplification for the edifice-frontend-framework by migrating the mathematics extension from @tiptap-pro to the community @tiptap package. This work involved updating TypeScript import paths, removing pro-specific configurations and environment variables, and aligning the codebase with standard TipTap extensions. By leveraging skills in CI/CD, frontend development, and package management, Micorksen reduced vendor lock-in and improved maintainability. The migration, implemented using Shell, TypeScript, and YAML, consolidated TipTap usage and eliminated deprecated packaging, resulting in a more stable build process and preparing the repository for smoother future upgrades and easier extension development.
