Worked on the Tencent/WeKnora repository to enhance document processing by delivering a configurability improvement for task creation. Refactored the task creation logic to adopt a modular, options-based design, enabling parameterized task creation and simplifying the onboarding of new document types. Focused on improving error handling within the asynchronous backend flow, which reduced misconfigurations and task failures. Applied a targeted bugfix to ensure the reliability and compatibility of the new options-driven approach. The work was implemented using Go, leveraging asynchronous programming and backend development skills to create a more maintainable and robust document processing pipeline within the project’s architecture.
