Worked on the cap-js/ord repository to deliver flexible API metadata tooling by implementing support for customizable compiler options in OpenAPI and AsyncAPI metadata generation. The approach involved refactoring the configuration structure to accommodate new options, ensuring that metadata retrieval logic could honor these customizations. JavaScript was used throughout, with a focus on backend development and API design. Comprehensive tests were updated and extended to verify the new functionality and prevent regressions, reinforcing the reliability of the changes. This work enabled a more configurable metadata generation flow, allowing users to tailor API documentation outputs to their specific requirements while maintaining robust test coverage.
