Developed anchored punctuation functionality for the Processor API in the m1a2st/kafka repository, enabling users to specify both start time and interval for punctuation triggers in Kafka Streams. This work involved refactoring scheduling paths within the API to support deterministic batch and windowing operations, aligning with KIP-1146 requirements. The implementation was completed using Java and focused on backend development, with comprehensive documentation updates and upgrade notes to assist downstream users in adopting the new semantics. No major bug fixes were recorded during this period, as the primary focus remained on feature delivery and improving onboarding for users upgrading to newer versions.
