Worked on the chakra-ui/ark repository to enhance code maintainability by focusing on code hygiene within the frontend codebase. Addressed unnecessary log output in the use-date-picker.ts file by removing a redundant console.log statement, which reduced log noise and improved overall code readability without impacting existing functionality. The approach prioritized non-disruptive, low-risk changes that adhered to established logging guidelines and commit hygiene, supporting future refactoring efforts. Utilized TypeScript and Vue.js to ensure consistency with the project’s frontend development standards. No user-facing features or bug fixes were released during this period, as all work centered on internal code quality improvements.
