October 2024 — jfrog/charts: Delivered a new Google Cloud Storage signed URL expiry configuration, adding the signedUrlExpirySeconds option to Google Storage persistence types to control temporary URL lifetimes for artifact access. This enables flexible, secure access management for artifacts stored in Google Cloud and supports varied access lifetimes across deployments. The change is backed by a focused commit and aligns with our security and access-control requirements. Major bugs fixed: none reported/fixed in this scope. Overall impact: improved control over artifact delivery, reduced blast radius for access management, and a smoother operator experience when configuring Google Cloud-based persistence. Technologies/skills demonstrated: cloud storage integration, provider configuration design, traceability through commits and PR references, and safe feature deployment within a chart repository.
