Worked on the namiltd/openwrt repository to deliver a comprehensive Wireless Regulatory Database Update, ensuring OpenWrt devices comply with evolving global standards. Focused on firmware development and networking, the update incorporated jurisdiction-specific changes, expanded channel width support, and revised power rules to address regulatory requirements in multiple countries. Leveraging Makefile and regulatory compliance expertise, the work included adding 320MHz channel width support for Russia, updating 6 GHz rules for Hong Kong and Russia, and correcting power units for Ukraine. These changes reduce regulatory risk and support device deployment in new markets, enabling maintainers and downstream teams to efficiently ship updates.
