Developed dynamic TLS certificate reloading for the cloudnative-pg/cnpg-i-machinery repository, enabling both server and client certificates, including client CA certificates, to be reloaded on demand for each new connection. This approach eliminated the need for server restarts when certificates changed, improving operational flexibility and security. The implementation leveraged Go for backend development, focusing on robust certificate management and secure communication using TLS and gRPC. By integrating dynamic reloading at the connection level, the solution addressed the challenge of maintaining up-to-date trust chains in distributed systems, supporting seamless certificate rotation and reducing downtime in production environments without manual intervention.
