Developed and delivered the WebSocket Swipe Event Handling feature for the SI-SecureRemoteControl/remote-control-gateway repository, enabling gesture-based remote control with real-time processing. Focused on backend development using Node.js and JavaScript, the work involved validating incoming swipe data, relaying swipe events to connected target devices, and logging each session for traceability. Implemented robust error handling to log failures when target devices were not connected, supporting operational reliability and easier troubleshooting. The feature enhanced end-to-end swipe gesture processing within the gateway, improving user experience and ensuring comprehensive event tracking. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on new feature delivery.
