Worked on modernizing the build system for the oxc-project/oxc repository’s VS Code extension by migrating from esbuild to rolldown. This transition involved creating a new rolldown configuration file and updating dependencies to align with the new build process. The approach focused on reducing build complexity and improving packaging reliability, which streamlines continuous integration and enables safer, faster releases. Leveraged skills in build tools, configuration management, and dependency management, utilizing TypeScript and YAML to implement and document the changes. The work enhanced maintainability and reduced risks associated with packaging, providing a more robust foundation for future extension development.
