Worked on improving the reliability of the editor save workflow in the eclipse-dirigible/dirigible repository, focusing on scenarios involving unsaved changes. Addressed a bug where selecting 'Save' in the Unsaved Changes dialog did not properly close the file, enhancing the user experience by ensuring files are correctly handled after saving. Strengthened the save-path validation logic within the workspaceHub.onSaveFile function to reduce the occurrence of stale open files and provide a more predictable workflow. Utilized JavaScript and front end development skills to deliver these targeted improvements, prioritizing stability and business value in the editor’s file management processes.
