Worked on the denoland/deno repository to deliver a targeted dependency upgrade focused on improving long-term stability and compatibility. Addressed maintenance challenges by updating the web-transport-proto crate to version 0.2.7 and aligning the nested thiserror dependency with the latest stable release. Leveraged Rust and dependency management best practices to ensure that upstream crates remained current and that nested dependencies stayed in sync. Validated all changes through continuous integration to prevent regressions and proactively identify integration issues. Updated documentation and communicated the downstream impact of these changes, supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of the denoland/deno codebase.
