Worked on the zed-industries/zed repository to address a Linux-specific UI issue affecting the Copilot sign-in dialog on tiling window managers such as Hyprland. Delivered a targeted bug fix by explicitly setting the app_id and window_title for the sign-in window, ensuring it is properly identified and focused within Linux environments while maintaining a no-op on macOS and Windows. The solution included updates to release notes and expanded UI test coverage to prevent future regressions. Utilized skills in Linux window management, Rust, and UI development to improve onboarding reliability and accessibility for users operating in diverse desktop environments.
