Worked on the galacticcouncil/hydration-ui repository to deliver a new Southeast Asia-anchored Hydration API endpoint, enhancing backend connectivity for regional clients. Focused on API integration and backend development using TypeScript, the work involved deploying a Bangkok-based endpoint operated by Rotko Networks with anycast HAProxy for improved reliability and latency. The update removed a defunct entry to eliminate DNS failures, reducing round-trip times for SEA clients from 250-350ms to 30-60ms. Deployment was validated through DNS and health checks, and comprehensive documentation was provided to support ongoing monitoring. The changes addressed regional connectivity issues and improved user experience for Asia-Pacific deployments.
