Refactored the plugin proxy endpoints in the Hivemapper/odc-api repository to route through the app proxy using the callHmApiWithGateway method, addressing LTE and WiFi routing inconsistencies and aligning with gateway routing patterns. Focused on backend and API development with TypeScript, the work enhanced reliability across diverse network contexts and reduced plugin routing failures. Comprehensive test coverage was added to validate the new implementation and ensure robust error handling, including tests for endpoints such as /secrets/:pluginName and /video-events/:pluginName. This targeted update strengthened plugin-based integrations and improved the overall end-user experience by minimizing incident risk.
