Worked on enhancing the xinnan-tech/xiaozhi-esp32-server by implementing a targeted feature to persist the remark field within model configuration updates. Leveraging Java and the Spring Framework, the solution ensured that user-provided remarks are reliably retained during backend update operations, directly addressing previous issues with data loss and improving the predictability of configuration management. This backend development effort strengthened data integrity and reduced the need for post-update troubleshooting, resulting in a smoother user experience for model configuration tasks. The approach also established a more robust foundation for future enhancements to configuration persistence patterns within the ESP32 server’s architecture.
January 2026: Delivered a targeted improvement to model configuration persistence in the xiaozhi-esp32-server, ensuring the remark field remains intact across updates. This strengthens data integrity, reduces post-update troubleshooting, and improves UX for model configuration tasks.
