During September 2025, Hamish McKelvie contributed to the dotnet/Scaffolding repository by upgrading the NuGet package version in the install-scaffold-all.cmd script, moving from 9.0.1-dev to 10.0.0-dev. This work focused on build management and scripting using Batch, ensuring the scaffolding package’s development lifecycle aligned with the 10.0.0-dev milestone and its downstream dependencies. The approach involved a targeted version bump without introducing functional code changes, thereby minimizing risk and maintaining existing behavior. While the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, the update supported release readiness and streamlined the packaging process for future development.
