Worked on the Tencent/tdesign-vue-next repository to enhance the ImageViewer component by making the thumbnail image serve as the default trigger, aligning the user experience with displayed content and reducing mis-trigger scenarios. The approach emphasized maintainability and reliability by expanding test coverage to validate the new trigger behavior, ensuring regression safety. All changes were implemented using Vue.js with JavaScript and TypeScript, following clear commit and changelog practices to support smooth release processes. The work focused on business value by minimizing user confusion and support needs, while maintaining engineering rigor through comprehensive testing and adherence to release hygiene standards.
