Worked on the ethereum-optimism/infra repository to deliver the Proxyd Backend Syncing Check Bypass feature, introducing a configurable option that allows backend services to skip the 'is syncing' check. This addition provides operational flexibility for multi-environment deployments where bypassing syncing checks is necessary. The implementation included a dedicated configuration file and an integration test to ensure reliable and reproducible behavior. Using Go for backend development, the work focused on system configuration and robust testing practices. These changes help reduce deployment friction and support faster incident response, while maintaining traceability and test coverage for the new configuration pathway.
