During April 2025, Hari Narayanan focused on stabilizing the LibertyGlobal/WPEWebKit codebase by removing the screen HDR support setting through a targeted revert. Working primarily with C++ and YAML, Hari applied API management and build system configuration skills to eliminate the screen-supports-HDR API, aligning the product with updated requirements and reducing the risk of HDR-related misconfigurations. This work involved careful use of Git’s revert workflow and thorough code review, ensuring that the system’s behavior remained consistent and maintainable. By addressing this bug, Hari preserved release quality and minimized the maintenance surface, demonstrating a methodical approach to codebase stability.
