Worked on stabilizing threaded messaging within the openclaw/openclaw repository, focusing on improving Mattermost integration by addressing issues with thread context preservation. Refactored backend logic to ensure root_id is consistently maintained for threaded replies, introducing a centralized function to resolve reply IDs and enhance data integrity. Collaborated closely with product QA to validate thread behavior, reducing mis-threading in user conversations and supporting future enhancements. Utilized TypeScript for backend development and API integration, emphasizing maintainable code and clear traceability. This work improved the reliability of threaded messaging, laying a foundation for further thread-related improvements in the system’s architecture.
